How We Support the NATO Climate Change and Security Action Plan
At the CCASCOE, we believe that integrating scientific, political, and experiential insights on climate change into NATO’s strategic decision-making is essential to advance the NATO Action Plan on Climate Change and Security.
We offer a framework building on that action plan, showing how the four pillars (adaptation, mitigation, awareness, and outreach) can be understood with more detail to help identify synergies, bridge gaps, and guide the development of effective long-term solutions.
This is Version 1.0, and through the creation of our Climate Security Community of Practice we aim to refine it together, welcoming input and shared understanding to strengthen the framework over time.
